Responsibilities
Partner with developers and analytics/business intelligence professionals to design efficient data transformations that support visually engaging analytics products
Understand business needs, design technical solutions, specify requirements, and oversee development, testing, and rollout
Own relationships with internal stakeholders and share responsibility for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and providing operational support for existing ETLs
Gain a broad understanding of the proprietary systems and third-party products that make up the firm’s human capital systems landscape
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or higher
Three to seven years of relevant experience in product management
Experience designing, implementing, and scaling data and analytics products
Proficiency in basic SQL
Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Experience working directly with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers, on ETL designs, business intelligence infrastructure, or API specifications
Excellent written and verbal communication (including explaining complex, technical ideas to a non-technical audience)
Organizational skills
Customer service mindset
Quick problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Effective teamwork
Project ownership
Ability to exercise extreme discretion with confidential information
Preferred
Familiarity with best practices and functional expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and data infrastructure
