Responsibilities
Perform Paintless Dents Repair (PDR) Service on customer vehicles
Inspect vehicles and repair minor door dings and dents for service customer
Paintless Dent Removal such as creases, dings, high spots, low spots , hail damage
Glass Chip repair
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Automotive collision repair experience
Ability to repair from dent to final completion all facets of the process
Ability to Mend damaged body and fenders by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts; ensure all gaps and fits are to industry standards
Experienced in using push bars and glue tabs to eliminate dents and other deformation defects on the vehicle body while maintaining the original paintwork
Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
Prepare car to be painted by sanding and refinishing
Ability to take from metal damage to full 100% completion ready to ship to customer
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
Use of Microsoft software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
Some duties performed outside in all weather conditions
This is a physically demanding position
Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Preferred
Minimum 1–2-year experience with Paint less Dent Repair (PDR)
High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
Certificate of competition from automotive painting program or equivalent experience
