Responsibilities
Assist in the operation of the CT lab in such a manner as to ensure high quality studies, excellent patient and physician satisfaction, and operational efficiency
Provide direct patient care as a PRN CT Technologist to facilitate continuity of services and support to the CT Laboratory Manager/Lead CT Tech and physicians
Provide and support patient care and ensure all CT lab services are of a high quality
Ensure CT lab testing results are reported accurately and promptly
Ensure appropriate quality control functions are being performed daily, weekly, monthly, and annually
Perform periodic correlation of CT findings to other modalities to ensure quality control
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific field
Clinical registration as an RT(R)(CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with cardiac CT experience
An active Florida radiologic license and experience as a staff CT Technologist
Basic Life Support Certification
Good working knowledge of cardiac care and general office procedures
