Firebender is a company that processes billions of tokens daily for coding agents and auto-complete models. They are seeking a Founding Engineer to build and iterate on multi-agent strategies for solving complex coding problems and manage their infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Build/iterate on agentic evaluation, and discovery multi agent strategies to solve harder and harder coding problems on large codebases

Manage infrastructure of our h100 cluster, and implement run time improvements like speculative decoding, kv-cache tuning, etc

Talk to engineers to gather feedback, and implement/deploy quickly with little to no hand holding

Willingness to work extremely hard in a tight knit team. We take our work seriously, and to set clear expectations, this is not a place for work life balance. There are plenty of other large companies with long management chains that can offer this, but we cannot with such a small team. Its our responsibility to do right by the engineers that use our tool and believed in us early on; this requires immense effort.
