Responsibilities

Own, manage, and regulate the daily execution of the Information Technology Change Management Process including managing and facilitating Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board

Plan, execute, control, measure, monitor and report on all configuration management activities impacting FPS business applications and infrastructure systems

Manage and execute the software build and release process

Manage and maintain the Information Technology Division Application Lifecycle Management tools (Service Now CMDB, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint)

Document and maintain the Information Technology Division technical baseline

Oversee the Information Technology Division Change Request process

Provide direction across the government and contract for proper resolution of change request issues and foster a common understanding of the Change Management processes scope, applicability, and key sub-processes

Ensure that the Information Technology Division configuration management system supports Agile/SCRUM development processes

Identify and maintain the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation

Track all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration

Collaborate with developers on materials and updates for applications and systems

Provide subject matter expertise in other meetings and forums, including customer technical meetings

Required

Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance

Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred

Bachelors degree or equivalent + 5 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience leading Change / Configuration Management operations in an IT environment

Experience with Change / Configuration Management tools and workflows

Ability to facilitate meetings with Program and Government personnel

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

Able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior customers to field and troubleshooting questions and issue

Works well inside team environment, positive can do attitude

Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)

Familiarity with some or all of the following: Service Now, JIRA, Confluence

Preferred

ITIL Foundation Certification

Previous DHS or DoD experience
