Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural direction and execution strategies for PolicyCenter implementations and upgrades

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices

Translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and testable Guidewire-based solutions

Engage with business stakeholders to propose implementation strategies

Design and develop end-to-end PolicyCenter solutions using Gosu programming, plugins, and integration frameworks

Implement new policy products, configure workflows, and develop rating logic

Perform hands-on integration development using SOAP/REST, messaging, and system connectors

Support product upgrades and cloud transition

Decompose tasks and manage progress using agile methodologies

Collaborate with QA to ensure robust testing

Support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot across environments

Qualification

Guidewire PolicyCenterGosu scriptingIntegration expertiseGuidewire upgradesCloud deployment

Required

Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field

Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter

Hands-on Gosu scripting and integration expertise

Specific experience with PolicyCenter (not just Billing or ClaimCenter)

Experience with Guidewire upgrades (v9 to v10)

Preferred

Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field

Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure)
