Texas A&M University is inviting applications for two full-time tenure-track or tenured faculty positions in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. The successful candidates will develop and teach courses, mentor graduate students, and establish an independent research program in space engineering.

Required

Earned doctorate in aerospace engineering or a closely related science and engineering discipline
Develop and teach courses in the newly established Space Engineering program

Participate in all aspects of the department's activities
Serve the profession

Preferred

Areas of interest in astrodynamics, space domain awareness, orbital dynamics, attitude dynamics, space robotics, guidance, navigation and control of space vehicles, low thrust trajectory optimization, and space mission design
