Responsibilities

Performs all diagnostic modalities as prescribed by a physician and directed by departmental standards
Performs echocardiography functions during procedures
Utilizes and applies knowledge and ability to gather and assess and interpret age specific data
Consults with physicians regarding clinical impression of ECHO report/findings; Fills in Note/Tech comments on study
Effectively communicates with physicians, colleagues, patients, and outside contacts
Interacts with the patient and/or significant other according to their appropriate stage of growth and development

Qualification

EchocardiographyRegistered Cardiac SonographerBasic Life SupportPatient communicationClinical consultation

Required

2-4 years of experience
Associate's Degree
Basic Life Support certification
Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
