Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and HVAC systems
Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions
Utilize diagnostic equipment, tools, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems
Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations and dealership standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations for future maintenance
Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or automotive repair facility
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and service manuals
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
Preferred
Completion of automotive technical training program or apprenticeship
ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications (INFINITI preferred)
