Responsibilities

Candidate will serve as a project manager on a variety of projects related to resilient infrastructure planning and design, hydrologic/hydraulic/coastal modeling, GIS mapping, risk and vulnerability assessments, and related services
Work responsibilities may include:
Managing, leading, executing, and providing technical support for resilience, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects within the municipal, regional, and Federal markets
Leading the development or implementation of climate adaptation and resilience plans, strategies, and similar policy initiatives
Communicating with clients, establishing goals and objectives for project teams, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client
Leading teams in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentation, as well as developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for various projects
Winning new resilience, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects and adding new clients

Required

BS degree in civil engineering, climate science, or related field, with emphasis in resilience
At least 5 years of professional experience in resilient infrastructure planning and design, water resources engineering, benefit-cost analysis, and GIS
Nature-based mitigation design experience in urban, rural, and coastal landscapes
Proven record of managing an inter-disciplinary team and delivering projects within a matrix organization successfully, profitably, and to the client's satisfaction
Client management skills and proposal preparation experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required as this is a leadership position requiring the individual to manage clients and mentor staff
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check

Preferred

MS degree in a similar field
PE (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
PMP
CFM
