Entry LevelPropel Schools is seeking passionate individuals to serve as Afterschool Artists at their schools. The role involves planning and executing art activities, supervising scholars, and ensuring a respectful environment while collaborating with the afterschool team.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute plans for an art activity after school
Coordinate with the afterschool team to meet the goals of afterschool
Participate in the Afterschool Showcase in May
Supervise and engage with scholars
Maintain a culture of dignity where all staff and scholars are treated fairly and with respect
Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
Ensure that all time is clocked in to UKG daily
Attend all required staff trainings and meetings
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director of Afterschool
Qualification
Required
BS in Art or a related field or a combination of other trainings and education that makes the candidate eligible to carry out the position
Experience working in Propel Afterschool or Summer Camp
Experience working at an afterschool program
Experience as a teacher or paraprofessional in a school
Experience working in programming for at-risk populations
Belief in a culture of dignity for scholars and staff
