Responsibilities

Manage complex, high-stakes personal injury cases throughout the entire litigation lifecycle, including administrative proceedings, depositions, discovery, motion practice, court appearances, settlement discussions, and trial work
Evaluate claims with a strategic lens, crafting and executing litigation plans aimed at achieving efficient, favorable outcomes while aligning with current legal standards and ethical obligations
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external entities, including operational teams and judicial bodies
Contribute to broader departmental objectives as directed by senior legal leadership, supporting organizational goals and initiatives
Operate both autonomously and as a key member of a collaborative litigation team

Required

Strong foundation in tort litigation and knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling personal injury claims through all phases of litigation on the defense side
Admission to the New York State Bar
