Rad Tech - Electrophysiology

Responsibilities
The Special Procedures Tech I assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients
In doing so, prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines
Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed and more
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served
Qualification
Required
Associates
IEMA licensure Radiology
ARRT registered
BLS - American Heart Association
Completion of 2 years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Previous patient care experience
