Account Executive, Insurance (WA or OR Resident)
Specialty Program Group (SPG) is the wholesale & MGA division of HUB International, focused on providing innovative insurance solutions. The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing accounts, managing relationships with health insurance brokers and clients, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities
Manage the entire sales cycle from securing a request from a health insurance broker, to closing the deal
Manage and grow a portfolio of long-lasting health insurance broker partnerships
Manage the annual renewal process
Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients
Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities
Stay educated and understand products, market trends, and competitors within assigned territory
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
Maintain a working knowledge of the quoting process for assigned market(s)
Participate in meetings as needed
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to US healthcare and Sales
Identify and report issues and opportunities for improvement related to processes and procedures
Develop and maintain documentation related to Sales processes, including reports, metrics, and improvement plans
Supporting and sustaining a positive work environment that fosters team performance through own work and behavior
Performing special tasks and assignments as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field; equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
Minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance sales
Must have or be willing and able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license in their state of residence
Excellent listening and communications skills to effectively identify client's needs, provide guidance, and close sales
Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks to completion
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and collaborate with individuals or group at all organizational levels; ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Preferred
3 years of work experience specializing in customer service, account management, or employee benefits is preferred
