BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and developing business opportunities in the energy sector, particularly in oil & gas, renewables, and power generation.

Responsibilities

Identify, meet and develop rapport with those persons within target-companies who influence project decision management
Maintains and develop relationships and services existing/new clients
Develop and implement strategic plans for proposed projects
Prepare and deliver presentations to clients/prospects
Respond to client's/prospect's questions and requests
Assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiations
Coordinate the writing of technical papers for publishing in appropriate trade journals
Ensure that Customer Relationship Management System is up to date and accurate
Participate in industry trade shows
Preparation of sales call reports
Continuously maintain product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills

Required

5 - 10 years of experience in engineering or business development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of engineering requirements pertaining to the oil and gas industry
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

Prefer sales experience in an oil/gas EPC company, and/or
Proven sales leadership experience in the renewables industry
