Responsibilities

Assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients
Prepares examination area
Positions patients for procedures
Operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines
Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed and more
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served

Qualification

IEMA licensure RadiologyARRT registeredBLS - American Heart AssociationRadiologic technology trainingPatient care experienceInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

IEMA licensure Radiology
ARRT registered
BLS - American Heart Associaton
Completion of 2 years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
