AQMS Practice Lead
EDGE Engineering and Science is a growing organization focused on environmental consulting, seeking an Air Quality Practice Leader to develop and execute a strategic vision for their air quality consulting practice. The role involves expanding client relationships, managing teams, and overseeing high-quality project delivery while fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead the business development strategy for the air quality practice; identify target markets, service line opportunities, and emerging trends
Build and deepen relationships with key clients across heavily regulated industrial sectors
Lead proposal efforts and drive sales to achieve revenue targets
Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of air quality professionals
Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration
Provide senior-level oversight on complex air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, compliance, and regulatory strategy projects
Serve as a technical resource and thought leader
Work closely with other practice leaders and executive management to integrate air quality services into multidisciplinary offerings and firm-wide growth strategies
Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and in thought leadership publications to build market visibility
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive experience in air quality consulting, permitting, or regulatory compliance
Demonstrated success in building and leading profitable practices or service lines
Deep understanding of U.S. air regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, NSR, PSD, Title V)
Proven track record of client development and revenue generation
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, or a related field
The candidate must possess the interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills necessary for positive internal, client, and contractor relationships
Solid technical writing skills and problem-solving abilities are a must
The candidate must demonstrate a passion for environmental consulting, technical excellence and quality, and a commitment to lifelong learning and growth
Preferred
Professional licensure (e.g., PE or CIH) is preferred but not required
