Responsibilities

Own the monthly close process

Internal and external financial reporting

Lead and enhance A/R and A/P processes

Analyze financial data and deliver management reports

Oversee preparation for external audits and tax filings

Implement and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and system workflows

Support lender and investor reporting requirements; provide insight into financial metrics and business performance

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff and offshore support team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5–7 years of progressive experience, ideally starting in a Big 4 or national public accounting firm (audit or tax)

CPA required

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and reporting best practices

Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting platforms (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)

Preferred

Prior experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth company

Familiarity with process automation, ERP implementations, or AI accounting tools

Exposure to the business services or financial services sectors
