Responsibilities
Production Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors to ensure seamless execution throughout the entire product lifecycle
Design Translation: Translate design concepts into garment form
Sample Management: Request and track the submission of strike offs, handlooms, lab dips, prototypes, and other samples during the development stages
Production Oversight: Act as the point person for all production-related activities from vendors, support and monitor WIP milestones, and drive on-time delivery of quality products
Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with factories and internal teams to address production issues and ensure adherence to our submission processes and procedures
PLM System Management: Work with our internal PLM system to provide full visibility and collaboration on development
Approval Process: Assist in driving the PP approval process to meet on-time delivery goals
Trim Development: Support garment trim development to meet federal and retailer requirements
Qualification
Required
Experience as an Apparel Production Coordinator
Detail-oriented individual
Exceptional organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Experience working with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors
Ability to translate design concepts into garment form
Experience in sample management including tracking submissions of strike offs, handlooms, lab dips, prototypes, and other samples
Experience in production oversight and monitoring WIP milestones
Ability to maintain open lines of communication with factories and internal teams
Experience with PLM system management
Ability to assist in driving the PP approval process
Knowledge of garment trim development to meet federal and retailer requirements
