SGRE Certified Wind Technician

They are seeking a SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs, and design modifications, all while adhering to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision

Required

SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician
Family 2 Maintenance Technician certified on the G129, G132 and G145 platforms
Ability to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs (non-crane related), design modifications/retrofits and special projects
Maintain certifications in all areas required by position
Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle
Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
