Required

Master's degree in Applied Math, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
3+ years practical software design and implementation experience
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance
Experience developing distributed computing solutions for implementing scientific or signal processing algorithms and/or complex command & control applications
Experience developing software for the Linux operating systems, including networking fundamentals, protocols, and standards (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS)
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Preferred

Working knowledge of the Rust programming language and associated development tools
Strong knowledge of web protocols and standards (HTTP, REST, WebSocket) and their use in cloud-based applications
Experience with containerized software deployment and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
Experience using DevOps tooling, particularly GitLab
Familiarity with the Naval surface warfare domain, air defense applications, resource optimization algorithms, or distributed command & control technologies
An active U.S. Security Clearance
