Registered Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities
Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures
Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay
Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS
Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
Maintain documentation
Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator
Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred
One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
