Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures
Generate accurate fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and reports
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce shop details
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
Ensure detailing work adheres to industry standards and project specifications
Perform clash detection and resolve design issues proactively
Support quality control and provide technical input during the fabrication process
Qualification
Required
Min. 4 years of experience
BE(Civil)
5 to 10 years of experience in structural steel detailing
Proficient in Tekla Structures (modeling, detailing, and reporting)
Proficient in other 3D modelling softwares like SDS2 & Advance Steel is an advantage
Strong knowledge of North American steel detailing standards (AISC, CISC)
Good understanding of connections, steel fabrication, and erection practices
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with global teams
Preferred
Experience working with international clients or offshore teams
Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection workflows
