The successful candidate will lead a team in managing public works projects, particularly in water and wastewater, while also engaging in business development and client management.

Responsibilities

Designing and managing Water/Wastewater Utility and/or Facility projects

Make decisions independently and resolve complex problems

Perform business development

Manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction

Support operations managers and practice leaders in business development and pursuit of Water/Wastewater opportunities

Qualification

Civil EngineeringWater/Wastewater DesignLicensed PEBusiness DevelopmentProject ManagementCommunicationTeam LeadershipProblem Solving

Required

Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil Engineering

15 years of experience to support Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility design, and planning

Water and Wastewater System planning and design

Licensed PE, preferably in Texas or can obtain immediately

Responsible for business development, production, and staffing

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be self-directed yet a team player, and have focus on quality, integrity and success

Preferred

Water/Wastewater treatment experience, is a plus

Additional experience with treatment processes and/or modeling is desired, but not required
