The Landscaping Shop Assistant will perform various maintenance and administrative duties to manage the fleet and facility, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Performs inventory control & order purchasing of tools, vehicles, equipment, chemical supplies, etc

Transport & delivery of company vehicles including trucks, trailers and equipment

Assists with scheduling repairs or preventative maintenance, ensuring that the necessary numbers of fleet vehicles, assist with processing capital requests & ensures the vehicles start operations decal

Maintains all vehicle records to include registration renewals, stickers/license plates, car insurance tracking & distribution, driver records, ensure registration handle & arrange the safety recall notices as necessary & assists with processing capital requests

Handles all other tasks related to the fleet, including but not limited to making sure all drivers and vehicles adhere to DOT regulations

Assist with equipment rentals and managing shop inventory

Provide basic administrative support such as: filing, sorting, data entry, answering phones, creating safety binders and assist with special projects as needed
