Responsibilities
Overseeing critical systems and networks: You’ll be responsible for the operation, deployment, and maintenance of the City’s network, servers, databases, and cloud services
Leading a dynamic IT team: Providing direction, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Ensuring data security and reliability: Manage and secure data archiving, backup, and recovery systems to protect City data and maintain operational continuity
Innovating and optimizing: You’ll collaborate with other IT Leads to analyze existing systems, recommend upgrades, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions that streamline processes and support City-wide initiatives
Hands-on problem-solving: From in-person support for end-users to overseeing system troubleshooting, your expertise will keep our technology running smoothly for City staff and residents alike
Qualification
Required
4+ years of IT experience with skills in database administration, team management, and technical troubleshooting
Proven leadership abilities and the flexibility to adapt to evolving technological landscapes
A strong understanding of enterprise-level IT systems and the ability to make strategic recommendations to enhance city operations
