Responsibilities

Help us build out the next generation of our globally distributed object storage system
Own your code from inception to release
Delivering solutions at all layers of the software stack to empower Cloudflare customers
Write a design document that outlines how you plan to solve a specific problem
Implement a new feature
Fix a bug that's impacting our users

Qualification

RustGoTypeScriptDistributed systemsHigh-throughput systemsCommunication skillsProblem-solvingAdaptability

Required

Strong programming skills with languages like Typescript, Rust, or Go
A solid understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consistency, consensus, data replication, and partition tolerance
Experience with distributed storage systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions clearly
Experience building and maintaining high-throughput, low-latency systems
Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and evolving priorities
