Responsibilities

5+ years of hands‑on PL/SQL development experience designing, coding, tuning, and troubleshooting complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in Oracle databases

Proven expertise in SQL optimization, bulk processing techniques, and performance tuning (e.g., BULK COLLECT, FORALL, indexing strategies) to efficiently handle large data volumes

Experience translating business requirements into scalable database solutions and collaborating closely with business analysts, QA, and application development teams

Preferred background in the Health Insurance industry, with familiarity in claims, enrollment, eligibility, or EDI (837/834/835) data structures

Ability to produce clear technical documentation such as data mappings, code specifications, and migration procedures while following established coding standards

Ideally some exposure to Java or other object‑oriented languages to support integration or middleware components (not required but a plus)
