Neuropsychologist - Greenspring - Part time - Hiring Incentive
Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a Neuropsychologist I to provide neuropsychological assessments and psychological treatment services to clients at the Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation. The role involves conducting assessments, writing reports, participating in case conferences, and providing support to families.

Responsibilities
Select, administer, and score psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess intellectual functioning, neuropsychological status, personality structure, interest, aptitudes, adaptive function, and academic achievement
Interpret assessment results with regard to understanding brain-behavior relationships, using findings based on current research in neuropsychological assessment and available evidence-based approaches
Write comprehensive neuropsychological assessment reports including diagnostic interpretations and next step management/strategy plans
Participate in weekly case conferences or interdisciplinary staff meetings as needed to discuss and evaluate the diagnoses and treatment/management of patients and formulate rehabilitation plans
Provide interpretative information to parents and/or primary caregivers (including teachers, therapists); may provide short-term counseling to parents for effecting changes in child management
Conduct intake interviews to ascertain the needs of clients and document the results of this interview
Assist the Department Director and Clinical Director in the development of clinical initiatives
Enter results from all assessments into the Neuropsychology Department and/or database
Enter reports into the KKI Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Maintain productivity standards
Maintain documentation and reporting standards
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited college or university is required
Completion of APA/CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship, with supervised experience in clinical neuropsychology, is required
Two-year postdoctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology is required
Minimum of two years experience working with a population of children with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This experience may be satisfied through postdoctoral residency training in clinical neuropsychology
