Qualification

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac SonographerColor Flow Doppler ultrasoundBasic Life Support (BLS) CPRM-Mode ultrasound2D ultrasoundQuality controlComplex instrumentation managementCourse completion

Required

High school or equivalent
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
Two (2) years experience with M-Mode, 2D, and Color Flow Doppler ultrasound
Completion of EKG course
