Responsibilities
Utilize your video skills to create short, impactful videos
Use your creative skills to tell a story through design, enhancing user experience and communication effectiveness
Create visually engaging and effective designs for both print and digital media, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, employee guides, web rotators, email newsletters, and monitor screen graphics
Revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to balance creativity with practical requirements
Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all design work while being innovative in design execution
Work closely with the Managing Director of Communications & Marketing to ensure that designs meet project requirements and timelines
Timelines can demand tight turn arounds for design concepts, layouts and edits
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience in video editing and graphic design
Strong design portfolio showcasing a blend of print and digital design work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects and/or Davinci Resolve
Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition
Portfolio that showcases a variety of design projects, demonstrating versatility and creativity
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Effective time management skills, with the ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects
Preferred
Familiarity with video editing, web design, and motion graphics is a plus
Experience in motion graphics and animation
Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects and/or Davinci Resolve) is an advantage
