Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Power BI dashboards to visualize system performance, business metrics, and operational data
Integrate and transform data using Power Query, ensuring clean and consistent data models for visualization
Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Alteryx and Azure Data Factory to automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
Optimize Power BI data models (star/snowflake schemas), implement row-level security, and create custom DAX measures and KPIs
Translate complex system requirements and data flows into actionable reports and dashboards for end users
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and system architects to align visualizations with technical infrastructure and business goals
Monitor data refresh schedules, performance, and reliability of dashboards and back-end data flows
Document system architecture, dashboard specifications, and data transformation logic
Support user adoption through training, documentation, and enhancement of reporting tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Hands-on experience developing advanced dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Proficient in Power Query for custom calculations and data manipulation
Strong working knowledge of Azure Data Factory for building and managing cloud-based ETL workflows
Proficient with Alteryx Designer for building automated data prep and blending workflows
Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing principles
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical data into user-friendly visual formats
Active Clearance with a FS Poly Required
