Altus Engineering is a Maryland small business providing professional engineering services to the Department of Defense and industry customers. They are seeking a Weaponeering Program Support Specialist to assist the Program Office with management materials, support external technical teams, and handle classified data related to munitions effectiveness programs.

Responsibilities

Assist the Program Office by maintaining management materials, to include schedules and briefings associated with subordinate functional area tasks, deliverables, and strategic planning utilizing Microsoft tools

Provide liaison support to external technical teams and attend meetings on behalf of the PMO

Provide support for meetings by preparing briefings, taking meeting notes, and support product demonstrations

Assist in developing and delivering status reports, highlighting the progress of efforts being undertaken

Manage requirements and documents that will be accessible by the Program Office

Coordinate receiving feedback from various stakeholders through, emails, phone discussions, in person meetings, etc

Provide safeguarding and maintenance of all classified data and material generated from current and previous JMEM efforts in support of development and publication efforts

Provide administrative support to weaponeering and software development tasks as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Information Systems or Engineering, and 5 years of relevant experience

In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience in weaponeering, targeting or vulnerability/lethality modeling

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance

Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Project

Experience working with military systems and databases
