Responsibilities
Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist
Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management
Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality
Assist in obtaining ACR certification
Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care
Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment
Responsible for all quality control testing
Provides feedback to management and may be required to complete employee performance evaluations
Performs additional duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must have ARRT NM and/or NMTCB
CPR certified through American Heart Association or obtained within six months of hire
Preferred
3-5 years hospital experience as a lead/chief technologist preferred
