Perioperative Tech
Community Memorial Healthcare is a community-owned, not-for-profit organization that operates two hospitals and a network of health centers in Ventura County. The Perioperative Tech assists Physicians and Registered Nurses in Surgical Services, facilitating transitions between surgical procedures and maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities
The Perioperative Care Technician assists the Physicians and Registered Nurses within Surgical Services pursuant to the objectives and policies of CMHs
To facilitate a smooth transition between surgical procedures and assist nursing staff in the maintenance of a clean environment
Training is 4-5 weeks on 8-hour shifts. Once training is complete, primary shift will be 12-hour shifts
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
One (1) year prior work experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred
Undergraduate degree
Completion of a Medical Terminology course
Bilingual in Spanish
Previous health care experience
