Responsibilities
Focus on Improper Payments and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
Assist in completing Appendix C improper payment testing
Conduct Appendix A internal control testing as directed by management
Draft summaries of deficiencies and corrective action plans
Perform various analytical tasks to support financial management efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related business field from an accredited university
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred
One year of experience related to internal controls, gained through:
OMB Circular A-123 (Appendices A & C)
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, or
Financial Statement Audits
