The Hawai`i State Judiciary is seeking a Court Operations Specialist IV for their Office of Project Management. This role involves performing complex project studies, overseeing extensive projects, and assisting with administrative functions such as budget preparation and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

Regularly performs complex and difficult project studies and assignments, which includes those reflective of the next higher level; and oversees and/or participates in complex, extensive projects and activities, requiring extensive liaison/coordinative responsibilities due to the variety, diversity and impact of problems and issues encountered; and performs other duties as required
The position will also assist with administrative housekeeping functions, e.g., preparing budget request, researching matters, preparing reports and correspondence, and investigating and resolving problems

Required

Current valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree; OR progressively responsible experience in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which has provided a general background of the type and quality described
Two and one-half (2-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in one or combination of the following: Analyzing, evaluating, developing, improving managerial policies, practices, systems, methods and procedures; and/or Independently performing professional work involving written analysis, evaluation and recommendations for problem resolution in a court or legal setting
Administrative aptitude rather than actual administrative experience is accepted

Preferred

Considerable knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro and the ability to develop and manipulate spreadsheets and effectively set up systems to track projects
Considerable knowledge of the State Procurement Office rules, the Judiciary's Financial Administrative Manual, and electronic systems such as HiePRO, Hawaii Compliance Express and 4Gov
Skills in the area of reading blueprints and technical documents
