Responsibilities
Lead new user interface designs through the full design and development cycle (including concepts, information architecture, visual design, and interaction design)
Lead cross-functional design reviews for design concepts, from initial wireframes and prototypes through feature completion
Create UX artifacts in support of product development. This includes feature lists, user flows, wireframes/information designs, etc
Create functional prototypes that display highly innovative, engaging and user-centered designs
Work alongside product managers to explore and discover new features that best serve the target market
Keep up with mobile trends in design as new versions of mobile phones/platforms are released to the market
Qualification
Required
8 to 15 years of technology development experience- Microsoft .NET, Azure a huge plus (front end and back end)
Proven ability to develop an architecture, team and process to grow a development department
A product builder and someone inspired with the ability to build a focused built platform and hardware
Any device or hardware experience is a plus, Alexa, Samsung, LG, iRobot anything that connects hardware and software is great
A desire and ability to create product experiences and understand the key parts to make and build a team that can innovate, and bring products to market
A desire for success and clear goals to build an amazing company with CEO they connect with
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
Excellent teamwork skills
A strong vision for mobile internet consumer products, clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, accessibility, and web standards
Strong visual and interaction design portfolio
Proven experience and understanding of mobile design/development, an outstanding portfolio showing hands-on UI/UX for web and mobile applications
Adobe Creative Suite Experience
Sketch and Zeplin
InVision
Jira & Basecamp Experience
3+ years of user interface design, and graphic design experience in consumer-facing applications
1+ years of iOS & Android app design experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design, a Plus
Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction design or related fields a plus
