Responsibilities

Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors to drive sales of securities and facilitate meetings, conference calls, and delivery of research
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ investment styles and needs to provide tailored solutions
Collaborate with the Trading Desk to resolve transaction issues and ensure seamless client experiences
Achieve and exceed revenue targets through proactive client engagement and rigorous calling activity
Stay informed on market trends, client strategies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities
Communicate investment ideas effectively to clients and internal sales teams
Train and mentor junior staff, including sales assistants, and contribute to hiring processes
Provide feedback to management on departmental procedures to enhance efficiency
Adhere to compliance policies and maintain high standards of client service

Required

6+ years of experience in financial services or sales, with a focus on institutional sales
Series 7 and 63 licenses required
Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement
Strong understanding of institutional sales techniques, financial markets, and processes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and analytical abilities
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in financial software systems and a willingness to learn new tools
High energy, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
