French - Part-Time Lecturer Pool

Teach undergraduate courses in French language, culture, literature, linguistics and/or film (beginners to advanced learners)
Demonstrate ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
Qualification
Required
Candidates must hold at least a master's degree in French or a related field and possess native-like fluency in French to teach lower-division (100- and 200-level) courses, must be at least a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in French or a related field and possess native-like fluency in French in order to teach 300-level courses, and must hold a Ph.D. in French or a related field and possess native-like fluency in French in order to teach 400-level courses
Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
This position requires the legal right to work in the United States of America. California State University, Fullerton cannot sponsor part-time faculty for work visas or permanent residence
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching
Preference will also be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment
Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities
