Senior LevelSnowrelic Inc is seeking a Senior Backend Python Developer to support a greenfield infrastructure automation platform. The role involves collaborating with the Infra Automation team to design and develop scalable backend services and automation workflows to enhance internal infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities
Design and build backend systems for infrastructure orchestration
Write clean, maintainable code using Python, Java, or similar OO languages
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to build internal tools and services
Develop interfaces with various database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
Build automation that runs reliably on Linux-based systems
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Python or Java (experience with both is a plus)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Strong experience with Linux environments
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with multi-tasking, context switching in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the financial services industry
Knowledge of infrastructure systems and automation is desirable. Strong coding skills – Python, PowerShell are required
Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems, Cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration Management (Ansible)
Experience with container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS and ECS
Self-motivated individual with great communication and interpersonal skills, and a very strong sense of ownership
Preferred
Exposure to Rust is a plus
Familiarity with messaging architectures, caching technologies, streaming and/or transaction processing systems
