Ability to converse with the model on theoretical assay design questions
Ability to verify factual accuracy and workflow logic
Ability to capture reproducible error traces
Ability to suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, or a closely related life-science field
Clear, metacognitive communication skills

Preferred

Peer-reviewed publications
Hands-on experience with pathogen assay development or diagnostics
Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, or ISO standards
