MRI Technologist PRN
St. David's HealthCare is part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the nation. They are seeking an MRI Technologist PRN who will perform MRI scans, assist in diagnosis or treatment, and provide patient care according to established standards and practices.

Responsibilities
You will prepare patients for procedures; providing instructions in order to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety
You will complete required documentation on forms, logs, work station and Meditech
You will administer contrast using proper technique
You will produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients
You will label images and identify according to protocol
You will communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
One year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
Graduate an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology
Completion of courses in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and cross-sectional anatomy
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
American Registry of Radiology Technologists certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT (MR))
Preferred
One year experience performing MRI procedures in an acute care setting
