Responsibilities

Developing site investigation, remediation, and monitoring strategies and plans for contaminated sites
Managing tasks and projects, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
Managing and mentoring junior staff and managing subcontractors
Developing work plans, evaluating environmental data, and preparing reports
Reviewing and managing written document production
Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
Conducting and overseeing fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction
Directing multi-disciplinary project teams
Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and
Help broaden our reputation via publishing and attending prominent industry conferences
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or related field
At least 5 years (7+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
Proven leadership skills
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
Regular field work and overnight travel
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers

Preferred

Advanced degree in the same
Professional registration. (i.e., P.G., P.E.)
7+ years of direct environmental consulting experience
Regional visibility through involvement in professional associations or trade organizations
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers
