Responsibilities
Have an integral role in building out best-in-class foundational legal processes
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with a focus on enterprise SaaS contracts
Serve as the primary legal partner to GTM teams, providing practical guidance that aligns legal risk with business goals
Develop scalable contracting workflows, playbooks, and enablement materials that accelerate deal velocity while safeguarding the company
Advise on data privacy, security, intellectual property, and regulatory matters
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal resources to move processes forward
Work closely with Product and Engineering to integrate privacy and security principles into product development and support compliance initiatives
Qualification
Required
J.D. with strong academic credentials and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
6+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, with a significant portion of that experience focused on B2B SaaS
Expertise negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements with sophisticated enterprise customers
Working knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), IP ownership/licensing, and information security requirements
Comfortable operating independently in a dynamic, high-growth setting—balancing multiple priorities and making judgment calls in real-time
Excellent communicator who builds trust and works collaboratively across business, technical, and legal teams
