Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of a project including planning, design, financials, and team coordination
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients
Mentor junior team members to pass on hard earned knowledge to the next generation of engineers
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of professional experience
At least 6 years of this experience must be as a licensed PE working on water, and/or wastewater treatment-type work such as treatment plant expansion, rehab, and planning
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Firm understanding of the engineering fundamentals as they relate to hydraulics and pump stations
Understanding of wastewater design aspects such as preliminary and primary treatment, biological nutrient removal (BNR), solids treatment and odor control
Understanding of water treatment design aspects, such as chemical feed systems, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration, and the associated regulatory requirements
Strong communicator with leadership skills
Ability to collaboratively plan, problem-solve, and follow-through on projects
