Industrial, Associate Operations Manager
GID is a privately-held, vertically-integrated real estate company specializing in multifamily and industrial assets. Responsibilities
Work closely with the Director and Associate Director of Operations in leading a cohesive, national property management team, including planning and coordinating team events
Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient business functions
Support project execution, timelines, and coordination across multiple teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Assist in onboarding and training new team members in operational procedures and best practices
Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business processes
Assist in testing and implementing new technologies and processes
Provide support in maintaining process and training documentation and invoice coding
Assist with processing, qualifying, establishing, and maintaining vendor relationships and contracts
Work with GID vendor management team to maintain compliance of strategic, national vendors partners
Provide support to ensure effective management utility accounts, as needed
From time to time, provide support to the market property management team by fielding tenant inquiries, issuing purchase orders, writing contracts, and coding invoices
Ensure that all GID policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
Other assigned duties, as needed
Qualification
Required
A minimum of five years real estate operations support experience required
Highly organized, detail-oriented assistant with ability to effectively multitask
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
Experience with Yardi Elevate preferred
