Wintersteen Casarez Law Corporation is looking for exceptional people to join their team and help grow their practice. The firm seeks an Attorney with 2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience to manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation
Work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators

Required

Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees
Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing
2 to 5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience
Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability
Excellent written and oral communication
Commitment to proactive case management
Must reside in the state of California
Clear and conceptual thinking ability
Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion
Ability to handle work-related stress
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to meet deadlines
Computer keyboarding
Travel as required
Hearing, vision, and speaking

Preferred

Experience in Merus or Litify
Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams
