Assess and maintain the OR environment to provide cleanliness and patient safety

Required

High School graduate or equivalent
Complete hospital orientation within 3 months of hire required
Complete Customer Service course within 3 months of hire required
Complete the following competencies within 3 months of hire or transfer to department: Decontamination of surgical instruments
Complete the following competencies within 3 months of hire or transfer to department: Assembly of instrument sets
Complete the following competencies within 3 months of hire or transfer to department: Sterilization of surgical instruments and instrument sets
Complete the following competencies within 3 months of hire or transfer to department: Re-shelving of instruments and instrument sets
Maintain instrument stock per levels

Preferred

Sterile Processing certification encouraged
