Responsibilities

Provides a variety of mammographic procedures on women and men following established protocols

Performs bone densitometry studies

Safely ensures quality radiographs, follows radiation protection standards and participates in the department continuous quality improvement process

Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients

Qualification

Florida CRT licenseARRT Mammography certificationARRT Radiography certificationBLS certificationRadiologic Technology experience

Required

High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience required

Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology

Minimum 1 year of experience is required

Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

Registered Technologist (ARRT) – Mammography

Registered Technologist (ARRT) – Radiography

BLS certification are required
